One Shot Chili Pepper and some Amazing Yakiniku in KOREA!

Watch this video if you want a REALLY GOOD LAUGH! This clip was from a trip I took in March to Korea to visit my mom’s side of the family. It was truly one of the best and most memorable meals ever!

The restaurant was very busy so I knew I was in for a treat. We had a large group so we got a private room. My uncle Tayeuk in the blue shirt next to me was so generous and gracious to host this dinner for our family get together this evening. We had a large group so we got a private room. This meat is soooooo flavorful and almost melt’s in your mouth. The combination of all these flavors and textures together is just unbelievable. I could seriously eat this EVERY night!

Perfect Wrap with lettuce, onion salad, slice of garlic, miso paste and sliced chili pepper and marinated pork, grilled to perfection. This is one mouthful that is just heavenly for me. I could eat about 50 of these!

It is customary to make wraps for eachother to share the love and spirit of enjoying good food with family! Such happy memories for me.

Of course the amazing food is washed down by TOASTING with SOJU! Lots of SOJU!

Just when you thought your belly was about to burst,  you are served Mul Naeng-Myeon (Chewy buckwheat noodles in Chilled Beef Broth with a dash of vinegar and hot mustard OR you can choosed Bibim Naeng-Myeon. The former is served as a cold soup with the noodles contained in broth made from beef, chicken or dongchimi. The latter is served with a spicy dressing made primarily from Gochujang (red chili paste) and eaten all mixed

As you can see from all the smiling faces and laughter we ALL enjoyed an incredible meal once again in one of my favorite countries… KOREA!
